Judging Criteria for Miss Black Florida Princess Pageant

At the Miss Black Florida Princess Pageant, we are dedicated to celebrating the beauty, confidence, and leadership potential of each contestant. The judging process is structured to provide a fair and balanced evaluation. The competition consists of three main segments: Evening Gown, On-Stage Question, and Final Walk. Below are the updated criteria and adjusted percentages:

Judging Criteria

  1. Evening Gown (50%)
All contestants will participate in the Evening Gown portion, where they will be judged on their overall presentation, poise, stage presence, and elegance. Judges will evaluate how well each contestant carries herself, her confidence, and how her gown complements her personality. Based on this segment, the top 5 contestants will be selected.

  2. On-Stage Question (30%)
The top 5 contestants will participate in the On-Stage Question round, where they will be asked a question by the judges. Answers will be evaluated on clarity, confidence, thoughtfulness, and communication skills. This is an opportunity for contestants to showcase their leadership abilities and personality.

  3. Final Walk & Winner Selection (Top 5 - 20%)
After the On-Stage Question, the top 5 contestants will walk again on stage, and judges will re-evaluate them based on their second walk. This final walk will be judged on overall presence, poise, confidence, and how they carry themselves in this moment. The adjustment in judging allows the panel to assess improvements or added confidence shown during the final walk before selecting the winners.
